Astoria (along with, obviously, Corona and Sunset Park) is one of the only places in NY where good, REAL Mexican food is readily available. I'm from Chicago which is bubbling over with authentic Mexican places around the city and burbs so I was really hurting before I found places in Astoria like Tulcingo Deli, around 28th St. on Braodway. The Bistec ala Mexicana there is one of my favorite meals in all of New York. I'm also a big fan of the place across of from Trade Fair on 30th Avenue.
